YOGA FOR EMOTIONAL CONTROL IN CHILDREN WITH ADHD

ABSTRACT Introduction: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common childhood disorders, with several negative social and behavioral consequences. Yoga shows appropriate efficacy in different conditions but poorly explored during childhood. Objective: Analyze yoga regulating emotions symptoms children ADHD. Methods: This experimental study followed up on a control group 30 They were randomly allocated into (N=15) through block randomization method. Participants completed emotion regulation Conner scale (CBRS) before, after, 60 days after exercise (20 sessions twice week). Results: After 8 weeks training, participants’ ADHD improved significantly. The improvement was maintained at follow-up. Conclusion: training proved to be an easy inexpensive method improve mental physical condition Level evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigating treatment outcomes.
